Production of homogeneous cells requires precise orchestration of culture conditions, but growth factor lability makes this a challenge. Some soluble proteins have half-lives as short as 45 minutes in culture!
In partnership with the Neural Stem Cell Institute (NSCI) headed by Dr. Sally Temple, StemCultures presents revolutionary controlled-release growth factor technology. This technology was born out of scientific necessity to improve the stability of growth factors while avoiding manipulation of the protein.
Now, protein concentrations are stable up to two weeks in culture, allowing scientists to always know what their culture conditions are. Because protein-half lives are extended, unwanted spontaneous differentiation is reduced, pluripotency is enhanced, and organoid production is more efficient, all while reducing feeding schedules.
