Special Session Program Description: Organized by the Rising Stars in Engineering in Health Program, this session is designed to support new tenure-track faculty members as they embark on their academic careers. Open to all conference attendees, the session will begin with a keynote lecture from a recently tenured professor. This will be followed by two interactive panel discussions focused on:

1. Setting Up Your Lab - Featuring insights from faculty who are 2-3 years into their positions, offering practical advice on establishing and managing a new lab.
2. Preparing for Tenure - Including guidance from faculty who are 4-6 years into their roles, focusing on strategies for navigating the tenure process effectively.

Join us to gain valuable perspectives and strategies from those who have successfully navigated the early stages of an academic career.
