Hailing originally from Massachusetts, Melanie Hilman is a third year PhD student at the University of Pennsylvania in the Bioengineering program working on tissue engineering solutions at the interface of the musculoskeletal and nervous systems. She is interested in forming connections with other scientists and engineers within the neural and muscle tissue engineering worlds and with other Penn alums/affiliates.
