Dr. Zhiliang Bai is a Postdoc Associate in Professor Rong Fan's lab at the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Yale University, holding a Ph.D. in Instrument Science and Technology from Tianjin University, China. His expertise lies in engineering microfluidic devices for biomedical research, leveraging single-cell multi-omics technologies to dissect CAR T cell functional states and associate with clinical responses, and developing spatial technologies to explore rich RNA biology in archival FFPE Tissues. Dr. Bai has received several accolades, including the Joan and Tom Steitz RNA Fellow, SITC Young Investigator Award, BMES-CMBE Postdoctoral Researcher Award, ASH Abstract Achievement Award, and the Committee of 100 Leadership Scholarship. His long-term professional goal is to pursue a faculty position as an independent researcher, positioning himself at the frontier of biomedical engineering innovation and translational immunotherapy research.
