Hailey Harkness

Hailey Harkness is a graduate research assistant in the Cardiovascular Bioengineering Lab at San Diego State Univeristy. Hailey is working toward completing her master's degree in Bioengineering with an emphasis in Bioinstrumentation. Her thesis work is directed towards looking at the flow patterns in the aortic root during Left Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD) support using specific models and 3D particle image velocimetry (PIV). Additionally, she is a very dedicated and hardworking individual who wants to help make a positive impact on human health with medical devices. In her free time, Hailey like to read, travel, and spend time with family and friends.
