Dong Gyu Hwang (he/him/his)

Dr. Dong Gyu Hwang is a postdoctoral researcher at the Center for 3D Organ Printing and Stem Cells (COPS) at Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH) in Korea. He completed his Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering at Dongguk University in 2017 and earned his Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Bioscience and Bioengineering at POSTECH in 2023.
He joined the research group led by Prof. Jinah Jang at POSTECH in 2018, and his recent research interests encompassed a wide range of cutting-edge topics, including 3D bioprinting, tissue assembly, decellularized extracellular matrix, and cardiac tissue engineering, to addressing biomedical challenges through innovative approaches and technologies.
