I earned my Ph.D. at KAIST in 2023 spring under the guidance of Prof. Jennifer Shin. I am currently working as a postdoctoral researcher at Brown University, guided by Prof. Ian Y. Wong, starting in June 2023. My greatest interest lies in the collective migration of the 3-dimensional multicellular spheroid model, to elucidate the physical mechanisms underlying many pivotal processes. To do so, I developed my expertise in quantitative analysis of cellular phenotype based on live-cell image and image processing, as well as traction force microscopy and hydrogel fabrication. As part of this, I have investigated the modes of migratory phenotypes of breast cancer cells depending on the methods for spheroid aggregation, and classification of glioblastoma cells by their invading characteristics.
