Hayden Pagendarm is a PhD Candidate in Biomedical Engineering at Vanderbilt University and a member of Dr. John T. Wilson's ImmunoEngineering laboratory. His research focuses on the development of novel technologies to modulate adaptive immune responses to achieve desired therapeutic outcomes. His novel technologies intersect biology and materials science by containing both synthetically engineered components such as small molecule drugs and analogs thereof and/or stimuli-sensitive polymers, as well as biological components including rationally designed proteins and engineered extracellular vesicles.
