Marzhan Sypabekova received the B.S. degree in Biotechnology from the University of Glasgow, UK, in 2011 and M.S. degree Bionanophotonics for telecommunications and biology Ecole Normale Superieure de Cachan, France, in 2014 and the Ph.D. degree in Science Engineering and Technology from Nazarbayev University, Kazakhstan, in 2019.
From 2019 to 2021, she was a Postdoctoral Researcher with the Biosensors and Bioinstruments Laboratory in Astana, Kazakhstan. Since 2021, she has been a Postdoctoral Research Associate with the Electrical & Computer Engineering Department, Baylor University, Waco, TX, USA. Her research interests include the development of point of care devices, biosensors (electrochemical, optical, fiber-optic), and biosensor surface chemistry optimization.
