Jiandi Wan obtained his Ph.D. from Boston University and conducted postdoctoral study at Harvard University. He then moved to Princeton University as a senior Research Associate and joined the faculty of the Rochester Institute of Technology and University of Rochester and moved to UC Davis in 2018. Dr. Wan has worked on microfluidics for more than a decade and authored or co-authored 50+ peer-reviewed journal articles including PNAS, Science Advances, and Neuron. As one of the early pioneers, Dr. Wan conducted extensive work in multiphase emulsion droplets and their applications in 3D printing and tissue engineering.
