Maria Sattar is a Fulbright Ph.D. Mechanical Engineering student at Georgia Tech. Currently, working on thermo-electrics to address the energy challenges for biosensor devices. She graduated as an Energy Systems Engineer from US-Pakistan Centre for Advanced Studies in Energy, National University of Sciences and Technology, Pakistan. She is developing novel flexible thermoelectric architecture for continuous and wireless human physiological monitoring. Her research focus is to develop a self-sustainable health monitoring system to increase the diagnostic efficiency and to reduce the chances of muscle fatigue, heart failures, oxygen deficiencies, and much more. She aspire to remove the impediments and resolve the bottlenecks of flexible thermoelectric for wearable health monitoring systems. She aims to build a self powered technology which let the bio signals to be acquired anywhere anytime without getting worried for charging or access to power grids.
