Taya Lee is a bioengineering PhD student in Dr. Jenna Mueller’s lab at the University of Maryland, College Park. She previously received her B.S. in Bioengineering from Clemson University and completed a postbac in the STAR-PREP program at the University of Maryland Baltimore campus. Her current work focuses on treatment and drug delivery methods for women with cervical precancer in low- and middle-income countries (LMICS). She has a passion for increasing treatment accessibility around the world especially for people living in low-income areas.
