Hohyeon Han is in her 5th year of the Ph.D. program at POSTECH's Biofabrication and Translational Medicine Lab. Her dissertation project focuses on developing an in vitro platform for researching neurological disorders by recreating the Gut-Brain axis, with a particular emphasis on the impact of biomaterials on cell plasticity and self-assembly. Her other recent research endeavors include the development of bioinks to ensure high shape fidelity in bioprinting. She holds a bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering from Yonsei University in South Korea and has been a recipient of the ASAN Biomedical Science Scholarship since 2022.
