Ms. Danyale Berry graduated from Winston-Salem State University (NC) with a BA in Exercise Science in Dec 2020. She entered the Industrial and Manufacturing engineering graduate program at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University in August 2021. Ms. Berry is a domestic African American women engineer, belonging to the highly under-represented group. Her motivation for pursing a PhD degree in engineering is to gain professional training for becoming an advanced engineer in the industry. She is especially interested in the intersection of stem cell research and the manufacturing of materials. Under the supervision of Dr. Changchun Zeng (PI) and Dr. Yan Li (Co-PI), Danyale investigates various methods to increase human stem cell production of extracellular vesicles toward neuropathic treatment.
