Younghye Song, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Arkansas. Dr. Song currently directs Therapeutic Testbed Engineering Laboratory, where tissue engineering approaches are utilized to develop not only therapeutic implants but also pre-clinical testbeds to study microenvironmental contributions to various diseases and injuries. Current focus in the lab includes cancer-nerve crosstalk and fibrotic scarring after traumatic nerve injury.
