Brigham and Women's Hospital, United States
I am an academic cardiothoracic surgeon with expertise in aortic disease, minimally invasive, endovascular, and transcatheter cardiac procedures. After completing cardiothoracic surgery training at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, I pursued an advanced aortic, structural and endovascular fellowship at Duke University. Subsequently I was a faculty cardiothoracic surgeon at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center before being recruited to BWH. I am on the Structural Heart team working within a multidisciplinary team on complex structural heart pathologies and serve as a co-investigator on several clinical device trials. I was recently awarded the American Association for Thoracic Surgery (AATS) Advanced Valve Disease Educational Fellowship to offset travel to allow for collaborative and advanced training in valvular disease. I also work in conjunction with Children’s Hospital Boston on surgical and clinical care of select adult congenital patients.
