Graduate Student/NSF Fellow
University of Delaware, United States
Eric is a National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellow in his fourth year of PhD studies in the lab of Dr. Emily Day at the University of Delaware, where he conducts basic research on the biological interactions of biomimetic, membrane-wrapped nanoparticles (MWNPs). Specifically, he investigates the innate physiological and immune responses to MWNPs, including analysis of how the protein corona on MWNPs dictates their interaction with immune and target cells in the body after systemic administration.
