Emily is a third year PhD student in the Department of Bioengineering at the University of California Los Angeles under the supervision of Jennifer Wilson. Her research focuses on the use of network-based models to uncover the molecular mechanisms that drive drug synergy. The computational pipeline she is developing can be a viable method for prioritizing synergistic drug combinations or more effectively designing experimental screens that have limited capacity to test combinations.
