Veronica (Ronnie) LaMastro is a 5th year PhD candidate in Biomedical Engineering in the Shukla lab at Brown University in Providence, RI. They recieved bachelors degrees in both Biomedical Engineering and Chemistry from Rowan University in Glassboro, NJ in 2019. They have expertise in the areas of biomaterials, chemical synthesis, nanoparticle fabrication, drug delivery, and microbiology. Their current work involves developing antifungal lipid nanoparticles to treat both localized and systemic fungal infections.
