Sarah Bortel is a PhD student in the Correa Laboratory of Nanoscale Immunoengineering at Columbia University. She is interested in developing instructive biomaterials to modulate the immune system's response to cancer and autoimmunity. Currently, her research involves the use of instructive nanotechnology to increase regenerative capacity in the central nervous system.
