V. Reed LaSala, MD

V. Reed LaSala is a surgery resident and currently a T32 postdoctoral research fellow in cardiac surgery at Columbia University Medical Center in New York, NY. He will be joining the Columbia general surgery residency in June 2024 as a 4th year resident, and he completed 3 years of general surgery residency at Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. He also completed a family medicine residency at Penn Medicine-Lancaster General Hospital in Lancaster, PA. He received his MD from the University at Buffalo in Buffalo, NY and his BA in Religion from Reed College in Portland, OR. He was born and raised in New York, NY where he attended Regis High School. He will be applying for cardiothoracic surgery fellowship after the completion of his general surgery residency.
