My name is Vicente D. Pinon and I am currently a Ph.D. student at the University of Georgia full-time seeking a doctorate degree in Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Sciences. My current research encompasses the field of biomedical engineering and pharmaceutical sciences by working on addressing clinical complications associated with medical devices. My current projects implement surface modifications and nitric oxide-releasing materials for medical device applications to improve antimicrobial properties and hemocompatibility.
