Hannah M. Zlotnick, PhD is a Schmidt Science Fellow at the University of Colorado Boulder in the Burdick Laboratory. She is interested in developing materials systems to model and treat joint-wide orthopaedic diseases such as osteoarthritis. During her postdoc Hannah is creating a microfluidic platform to investigate the interplay between tissue vasculature, immune cells, and tissue resident fibroblasts after injury. Hannah completed her PhD at the University of Pennsylvania in the McKay Orthopaedic Research Laboratory within the Mauck Lab, and focused on translational cartilage and bone tissue engineering in large animal models.
