Ms. Myungji Kim is a Ph.D. candidate in the School of Interdisciplinary Bioscience and Bioengineering at Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH) in Korea. She received a Bachelor’s in Bio Fibers and Material Science from Kyungpook National University, Republic of Korea in 2018. She started her research after joining Prof. Jinah Jang’s group in 2018. She was awarded the 30th Samsung Humantech Paper Award (2024), Graduate Researcher Award by the International Society for Biofabrication (2023), The Korean Society for Biomaterials (2023), ASAN Foundation Fellowship (2022), The Korean Society of Medical & Biological Engineering (2021), and POSTECH (2020). Her research interest lies in the 3D bioprinting of stem cell-derived pancreatic tissues and engineering tissue niches for the studies of diabetic diseases.
