Jacqueline Foss works as the Technology Translation Manager at the Rice360 Institute for Global Health Technologies at Rice University in Houston, TX. As part of the technology lead team, she guides the engineering team in project management and R&D for the development of medical devices for low-resource settings.
Jackie earned a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado State University. She is currently pursuing her Master of Public Health degree with a focus in Health Promotion and Health Education at the UTHealth School of Public Health. Jackie worked for years as an R&D Engineer in medical device development for high-resource settings and now applies her experience to work toward projects in global health equity.
