Kelsey Swingle obtained her Bachelors of Science in Engineering in Biomedical Engineering at Case Western Reserve University working in the lab of Dr. Anirban Sen Gupta. She is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Bioengineering at the University of Pennsylvania working in the lab of Dr. Michael Mitchell. Her research is focused on the design of ionizable lipid nanoparticle platforms for nucleic acid delivery for maternal and fetal health.
