Dr. Huiyi Liang with nearly a decade of experience in biomaterials, specializes in biomedical polymers. With a PhD in material physics and chemistry, her focus includes polymer design, synthesis, and biofunctionality studies. Previously, she concentrated on strategies for modulating inflammation, particularly through cationic polymer and nanoparticle designs to inhibit NA-induced inflammation and autoimmune diseases. Inspired by these endeavors, she aims to enhance DNA-binding efficiency and biocompatibility in bio-functional materials for superior non-viral gene editing carriers.
