Ella McGovern is a first-year graduate student in the Biomedical Engineering PhD program at Columbia University. While she was an undergraduate student, she was under the advisement of Dr. Krish Roy and the mentorship of graduate student Shivani Vyas. She engineered nanoparticles to target immunosuppressive cells during inflammatory lung diseases during that time.
