I am an MD-PhD student entering my third year in the Laboratory for Stem Cells and Tissue Engineering/Gordana Vunjak-Novakovic Lab at Columbia University. Along with the Lung Team in the lab, I am working to develop multi-scale models of lung disease for therapeutic testing. Specifically, my work is on developing a bioartificial mucus and small mucuosal tissue bioreactor for high-throughput testing of gene therapies for cystic fibrosis.
