Bridget Thorpe is a PhD candidate at the George Washington University conducting research on therapeutic ultrasound effects on the endocrine system, specifically looking at the pancreas and thyroid gland. She has a special volunteer research appointment at the Lab of Diagnostic Radiology Research at the National Institutes of Health and acts as a research consultant for the University of the District of Columbia Center for Biomechanical and Rehabilitation Engineering. She also was an intern for the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy Health Outcomes Division and Biden Cancer Moonshot.
