I am currently a research assistant professor at the Florida International University, working on exciting problems in the RF and Microwave theory and systems. I very much enjoy working on problems warranting unconventional solutions that question the fundamental limitations of full duplex wireless transceivers. In particular, I am interested in extending the fundamental limitations of full duplex communication using simultaneous transmit and receive (STAR) technique. I have also worked on the development of low cost reduced hardware digital beamforming during my PhD. I received my PhD from the Ohio State University under the supervision of Prof. John Volakis in 2017. Prior to that I was a scientist at the Centre for Airborne Systems (CABS-DRDO), India, from 2009 to 2013, where I was involved in the development and implementation of active electronic steerable antenna array. I did my bachelor’s degree at the National Institute of Technology, Thiruchirapalli in 2009.
