Elizabeth Brown is a graduate student pursuing an MSE in Bioengineering at the University of Pennsylvania. In 2021, she received her B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of Wisconsin–Madison where she conducted research at the Friedrich Laboratory studying RNA virus evolution and pathogenesis. She is completing her master's thesis at the University of Pennsylvania and the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia in the Gottardi Lab, where she engineers controlled drug delivery systems for novel ECM-derived peptides to treat vocal fold fibrosis. Elizabeth will pursue her PhD in Bioengineering in the Fall of 2024.
