Jennifer Ferd obtained her Bachelors degrees in Mathematics and Biological Sciences from Hunter College CUNY. She is currently a PhD student in Bioengineering at the University of Pennsylvania, where she works on illuminating deep-seated tumors for image-guided surgeries. She also enjoys teaching and is involved in mentorship and outreach activities on campus.
