Ryungeun is interested in the fluid mechanics and interfacial flow in microfluidic systems. During his PhD in Sungkyunkwan University
, he studied the generation of various types of emulsion droplets using 3D printed microfluidic systems, manipulating them using electrohydrodynamic flow, and optimizing various small-scale flows (e.g., blade coating, micro tip vortex, and hemodynamic flow). Currently, he is a postdoc at Princeton University, exploring the fabrication of micro/nano-scale actuating device involving microtubules.
