Dr. Amir Rouhollahi is a postdoctoral researcher in Nezami Lab at Division of Cardiac Surgery, BWH. He gained extensive experience in mathematical modeling, biomedical data analysis, medical image processing, and the application of machine learning in various biomedical projects during his MSc and Ph.D. periods. His research in Nezami Lab focuses on mathematical modeling and data-driven simulation of various pathologies and their application in surgery planning. Dr. Rouhollahi explores the application of state-of-the-art machine learning tools in a variety of diseases including but not limited to aortic stenosis, mitral valve regurgitation, and heart failure, and has recently developed a robust deep learning platform for automatic reconstruction of patient-specific aortic geometry as well as computational modeling of valvular diseases.
