Dr. Charles Patrick Jr. has worked in higher education for 37 years at state and private universities and an NCI comprehensive cancer hospital as a tenured professor, director of research, department chair, and university vice president. He currently serves as a Professor of Practice and Director of Undergraduate Programs in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Texas A&M University. His current research within the Ideas to Innovation Engineering Education Excellence Laboratory (i2ie3l.engr.tamu.edu) focuses on enhancing undergraduate and graduate student learning, engagement, and workforce development by transforming biomedical engineering education through scholarship and research of innovative teaching and learning practices and technologies.
