Mengrui got her MD degree in 2019, and got a scientific postdoc training with the mentor of Dr. Ke Cheng in UNC/NCSU and Columbia University. She is now in her 3-4 year postdoc training period, since there was a one-year gap during the training. Mengrui's research focuses on the exosome and lipid nanoparticle engineering for RNA delivery and tissue regeneration, including heart and lung.
