Nicolas Castro, BS is a graduate student researcher in the Raman Lab at MIT in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. Currently assisting in the development of muscle actuators for use in biohybrid robotics, he is specifically researching methods for muscle actuator implementation into engineered systems through the use of synthetic tendon. Nicolas recieved his BS in Biomedical Engineering and Minor in Robotics from Georgia Tech.
