Dr. Mia K. Markey is a Professor of Biomedical Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin and
Adjunct Professor of Imaging Physics at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. She is a
Fellow of both the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) and American
Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE), and is a Senior Member of both the IEEE and
the SPIE.
